Valentour's Family Restaurant and Pub: A Hidden Gem in Sturgeon, PA

Had never been here so decided to try for dinner. I liked that they had local breweries and wineries on their drink menu. We started with the fried zucchini which was tasty. For dinner, my mom got the chicken parm which she said was tender, it’s one piece of chicken and a mountain of pasta. I got the shrimp special, which was good but not as flavorful as I expected based on the explanation and didn’t feel like a $30 dish to me. We shared the cream puff for dessert, which had a nice presentation but was underwhelming.

We took our family to Valentour’s for dinner last night and had the most wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the service was honestly amazing — they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The owner was there and you could tell he genuinely cares about the restaurant and his customers. He pays close attention to detail, and it really showed in every part of our visit. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were very generous for the price. It’s hard to find a place that delivers on food, service, and atmosphere all at once — but Valentour’s absolutely did. We’ll definitely be taking the family back again soon!

Took a bike ride on the panhandle trail. Always saw Valentours restaurant & wanted to stop in. They open at 4 pm & we finally had an opportunity. Nice friendly restaurant with a nice menu selection. But I will say….. The cream puff was absolutely amazing. They have it written up wrong on the menu. For it has a “custard filling”. Cant get a Cream puff like this anymore. It was huge could feed 3 people . Delicious! Worth stopping in for a bite to eat after or before your bike ride - even if only for the cream puff & can get it to go too!

OMG!!! A hidden gem. This is the BEST Italian restaurant in Washington County if not all of Western Pennsylvania. My boyfriend and I go there frequently. The food is superb. The service is outstanding. Do not hesitate GO GO GO and support this family owned restaurant.

Our friend had heard about this restaurant on the radio. It was an hour from our home, but it piqued our interest. It was absolutely delicious! The waitress was friendly and on top of everything. The food was delicious, and the cream puff was out of this world. Don't hesitate to make your reservations and go!

Have seen this place for years and decided to stop in. Had the Zucchini app, wedding soup, two daily specials and the chicken alfredo. Service was outstanding, the owners came over and checked to see how everything was. Food was tasty. Will definitely be back next time I am craving Italian

This hidden gem in the Oakdale area has the best Italian food, in my opinion in the Pittsburgh area. Found out about Valentour's about a year ago and we now dine here once a month. The service is impeccable, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the Italian dishes are remarkable. You won't be disappointed.

Awesome Italian place ! Had the fried zucchini it was hand breaded and delightful , I really enjoyed the horseradish sauce. I enjoyed the chicken Marsala and wedding soup. Both were very good !! Service was great as well, chef came out to greet the guest , really great place !
